OMERS launches new member experience program. CEO claims, “Now, OMERS can offer you a clear vision into the future of your family.”

OMERS and OMERSDigital have launched a new member experience program which offers personalized pension information and plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of OMERS pensioners. As one OMERS employee told us, “I often felt OMERS had a narrow view of what a pension is. But it seems like now we’re getting how pensions fit into members broader retirement needs.”

The new program will revolution the OMERS member experience, with changes ranging from personalized social media posts and video content that integrates members details and past history to suggested plan tweaks, additional contribution and buyback offers that best meet a members desired retirement path. The program was announced after a member consultation process where members provided insight into their needs through social media and in person interviews.

 

Members seemed to appreciate the consultation, and love the new content and personalization, with Julian from Thunder Bay saying, “I feel like OMERS gets me. I feel good about my future with OMERS.”
