OCAD U CO’s Lab Experiences accelerate and advance organizational strategy and innovation goals through facilitated remote working sessions for teams of 5 to 150.

Leveraging the unique methods and capabilities of Canada’s largest and oldest art and design educational institution, these 2-5 day engagements apply strategic foresight, design thinking, human-centred design, and prototyping to organization challenges to help your teams get work done in a rapid, innovative way.

Futures Lab

Guides your team through a hands-on experience to identify and make sense of emerging future trends and signals of disruption. Teams design future scenarios that go beyond traditional strategic plans to identify opportunity areas, potential blindspots, and new strategic directions. Venture Lab

Facilitates an end-to-end design thinking process in an accelerated format that gets your team into the field to discover real customer insights, develop prototypes, and rapidly test them. Leave with real prototypes, validated concepts, and actions plans for moving from ‘idea to invoice’.

Action Lab

For teams looking to bring a renewed sense of focus and a bias for action when executing their strategic plans, this facilitated lab borrows methods from Google, Amazon, and Intel to set bold stretch goals and measurable key results in short bursts of time.
